Vorsicht: Elkos, Tantal-Kondensatoren, Dioden und LEDs müssen richtig gepolt eingebaut werden. Kondensatoren sind gekennzeichnet (+ oder -), bei LEDs ist das lange Drahtbein der Pluspol, bei Dioden zeigt der farblich abgesetzte Ring die Sperrichtung an.
Die Dauerbeleuchtung bezweckt die gleichbleibende Beleuchtung unabhängig der Reglerstellung. Außerdem sind LED´s sehr viel länger haltbar als Glühbirnen (man denke an Abflüge...) und erhitzen nicht. Weiße LED´s sind sehr teuer, überzeugen aber durch eine fantastische Lichtstärke. Herzstück ist ein Goldcap, ein Zwischending zwischen Akku und Kondensator. Der in F= Farad ausgedrückte Wert bezeichnet die Speicherkapazität. 1F-Goldcaps sind sehr gross und in 1:32 Fahrzeuge nur schwer einzubauen. Bei insgesamt 4 LED´s beträgt die Nachleuchtedauer mehr als 5 Minuten. Insofern sind 0,1F Goldcaps u. U. ausreichend.
Die Schaltung ist durch den Festpannungsregler bis rund 30 V verwendbar, wobei sich aber der Festspannungsregler stark erhitzen kann (ausprobieren).
Caution: Elkos, tantal-Kondensatoren, diodes and LEDS must be inserted correctly polarized. Condensers are characterized (+ or -), with LEDS are the long wire leg the positive terminal, with diodes indicate the coloured set off ring the high-resistance direction.

The circuit is usable by the Festpannungsregler to approximately 30 V, whereby however the tightening automatic controller can heat up strongly (to try out).

Der Trimmer P1 dient nur zur erstmaligen Justierung. Ist die Rücklichthelligkeit optimal eingestellt (je nach Geschmack) kann der Widerstandswert gemessen und der Trimmer durch einen normalen Widerstand ersetzt werden.Die Diode D 1 (Pfeil) kann weggelassen werden.
